The AMOC Intermarque Championship is one of the longest-running Championships in the UK – having been established in the early 1970s. The Championship pitches Aston Martins against similar high performance models from Ferrari, Jaguar, Porsche, Austin-Healey, Sunbeam and V8-powered American cars, ranging in age from the mid-'50s through to 1995.
It attracts some of the best cars from leading manufacturers famous for their strong racing pedigree with the drivers challenging for individual honours, as well as overall team success.
The Championship is run in rounds – each one a 45-minute, two-driver race – and will feature at every one of the AMOC Racing meetings. Each Marque is represented by a team; every car from that marque becomes a member of that team, and each team has its own Captain. It is the role of the Team Captain to co-ordinate all entries for their team.
The four Team Captains are:
Aston Martin - Peter Snowdon; Ferrari - Tim Mogridge; Porsche - Rob Hollyman;
Sunbeam - Tristan Bradfield; American V8 - Gail Hill
